how should i start this post?
too much to tell but too little time
today marks a week since Nadrah was borne to the world
(p.s. thanks Yanti for posting the pic! I’m sure all of them are going goo-gaga over her pic.)
Many peeps asked me how’s the feeling of being a new MUM!
Have to admit that there was mix feeling initially
At one part, I am unsure if I’m ready to carry the role, knowing that the Mr & Missus can no longer be the way we were before
But looking at another perspective, I (read: WE) believed we have made the right choice in having a child right after our wedding-hood
It has bonded us together (even more) and gives us the challenge in making our roles work
So, you peeps out there (who are officially married) apart from helping our government to increase the population, do take it on a higher note that it brings joy to your life!
Support procreation!
Kwa kwa kwa
it has been a SENSATIONAL feeling
with new title crowned upon the Mr & the Missus
and great responsibility bestowed upon us
I really salute all those parents out there
For all the sacrifices being made to bring a new life in this world
and undergoing all those challenges set
like I say being a parent is no easy task
there’s many steps towards everything
but as for now, i will be enjoying my 10 weeks of maternity leave pampering Nadrah and learn all those ropes of being a MOM from my MOM
p.s. - thanks for all who have visited me at NUH and has given Nadrah tokens as well as presents. Appreciate it alot! I'm sure Nadrah will enjoy it as much as I do.
here's a pic of my gynae who has assisted me in bringing Smiley Nadrah to the world. look at her! her title (smiley N) compliments her. she just like to smile! Thanks Doc Vanaja! You have been a great help and given us great service throughout my pregnancy. This special shout out is attributed to all the Doctors & Nurses from NUH Delivery Suite 22 and Ward 96. You have made my labour and stay worthwhile with you motivation and support.
