it was and has never been easy for me to shop for new clothes, be it leisure wear or office as i am a 'plus size' mama. big hips, thunder thigh, apple bottoms, heavy bottom, u name it and i fit in all categories. unlike in US or Europe where there are shops (plenty in fact) caters for 'super-size' like me that comes in trendy and fashionable look such as those like Lane Bryant and more. Unlike spore,my normal haunt will always be at either dorothy perkins or marks & spencer. and when their season is so 'belapok' or really not up to my likings, where else can i shop? None! even shops that promise plus size clothing can be deceiving because their plus size clothings cutting still catering for the small, petite one. shucks!
i mean, i am not blaming spore to have most women in such small sizes and competing always to remind themselves that they have eaten too much, should jaga their diet and to still complain eventhough they are still small and only gain 0.5 - 1kg. goodness. gracious. me. i especially squirmed whenever i got caught in such situation and i would end up telling them that I am the Epitome of Fat and I would be just happy to be in their state and not having to go through the stupid diet or hardcore exercise regime (which i have not been doing since i made a pact to lose weight. tsk tsk tsk...)
green with envy i have been for them. cause they can shop at any famous retailers in singapore and even enjoy the best price. i failed to believe and accept that plus size clothings are often charged alot higher with common reason given that we use more cloths! that's purely insensitive and ridiculous. perhaps that's one of the way to impress us to lose weight so that we can enjoy such benefits? ehmmm.... i rather leave that thought for now cause losing weight (especially this water-retented tummy of mine) is not easy. has never been and will never be.
for that, i feel motivated that i can still look fab despite my plus size issue and to have a daughter whose dressing is far much more elaborate and stylo than me, it just got me driven. with stuffy nose, phlegm-infested throat with bout of dizziness, i googled for 'trends and fashion for plus size model'. I was apprehensive at first as I can't find brands that do international shipping but likewise GOD must have pity me because 'He' knows that i am in dire need for a change of wardrobe, he led me to
