few things that i have learnt after a week of motherhood

Rule of thumb of being a first time mother
Don't let the baby control you but you should control the baby
(a word of advice from my Bik Dah. Thanks alot. I will put it into practise and whenever she cry, I will just acknowledge that it is a good exercise for her lungs?)

Though the doc + nurses advised that per feeding would be at 3 hour interval, babies nowadays are either super thirsty or crave to grow faster?
cause it is no longer 3 hours apart from each feeding but 2 hours
so new mothers out there, bear that in mind, k?

there's no hurry of u to buy tons and tons of baby clothes cause you will be getting alot of it from peeps.
just look at Little Jepon, barely a month old but her wadrobe (even her drawers) are packed with clothes
some even stretch till 3 years old
good for the mr + missus = save money!

finally understand the rationale of maternity leave.
maternity leave is not for you to rest after your birth.
but instead it is more of 'baby-care' boot camp where u will never ever gonna have a peaceful 7 or 8 hrs of sleep as u will be waking up every 2 hours to feed your baby
a word of advice from me, take your maternity leave after your baby birth
anytime early, just snap up from your annual leave

for those who were never a cam-whore
u will find yourself to be one since u can't stop taking pics of your baby for his/her antics each and every moment. special moments which u hope not to miss and wish to capture it for safe-keeps
that would be me.

being parents is no easy task.
it is definitely a BIG step to take after wedding-hood
u find yourself being vunerable towards the baby
and often question yourself if you have done a good job
the 'mr' inputs is kind of deep and sentimental but i agree unanimously with his sentiments that we often question ourselves each and everyday for every steps we took or act towards Little Jepon. this is just the beginning of everything and thus, we pray day and night that we both be able to do our roles well and make the best for her.
so let the path begin...
